About me

Dr. Ohaegbulam is a Board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in spine surgery. His practice is anchored at New England Baptist Hospital, where he has held the prestigious position of Chief of Spinal Surgery. Dr. Ohaegbulam's career in medicine began with his medical degree from the University of Nigeria, followed by a comprehensive neurosurgery residency and spine surgery fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital in Boston.


Throughout his career, Dr. Ohaegbulam has significantly contributed to the field of spine surgery through numerous publications and book chapters, enhancing the body of knowledge in spinal care. His clinical interests extend to minimally invasive surgery, spinal robotics, and image-guided surgery, as well as spinal motion-sparing procedures, such as artificial disc replacement. As such, Dr. Ohaegbulam has a steadfast commitment to innovative treatments that improve patient outcomes.


An active member of key professional societies, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), and the North American Spine Society (NASS), Dr. Ohaegbulam is deeply involved in the broader neurosurgical and spinal surgery communities.
