Federal DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing
(49 CFR Part 40)

Our medical assistants are certified in DOT drug and alcohol testing procedures under federal regulations.

We offer:

DOT Drug Screens with MRO Review
Results are reviewed by our certified Medical Review Officer and reported directly to your Designated Employer Representative (DER). -
DOT Collection Only
For employers with a contracted MRO. We collect specimens using your Federal Chain of Custody Form and send the CCF and specimen to your designated laboratory. Results are sent by the lab to your designated MRO. -
DOT Observed Collections
Conducted strictly in accordance with 49 CFR Part 40 regulations.
Lab-based DOT results are typically available within three business days. MRO review of positive or non-negative results may require additional time, generally up to seven days, to ensure regulatory compliance.
Non-DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing
Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing programs are not federally regulated and can be customized to your organization’s policies and requirements.

Collection-Only Services
If your company has a contracted Medical Review Officer for federal and/or non-federal testing, we can provide collection-only services. Send the employee with your Chain of Custody Form or provide our clinic with CCF forms in advance. We collect the specimen and forward it to your designated laboratory, with results reported directly to your Medical Review Officer for validation.
Rapid Drug Screens
Rapid testing is performed on-site, with results typically reported to the employer within one hour. Any non-negative rapid result requires laboratory confirmation at an extra cost.
Rapid testing panels can be customized to your requirements.
