Meet Dr. Michael Baratz
A leading orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements, Dr. Baratz brings over a decade of expertise in minimally invasive direct anterior hip replacements, partial and total knee replacements, and advanced robotic-assisted surgeries. As the founder and director of the BIDMC Hip and Knee Replacement Fellowship, he’s not only transforming patients’ lives but also educating the next generation of orthopedic surgeons.
Dr. Baratz’s passion for global health has taken him beyond Boston, performing life-changing joint replacements on medical missions in Nigeria and Panama. Whether at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, New England Baptist Hospital, or the New England Baptist Surgical Center, he remains dedicated to helping patients regain mobility and quality of life.
